The Motherline

The Motherline holds a vision of establishing and nurturing secure attachments between mothers (and other caregivers) and their children. It holds a vision of a world where, from the earliest of beginnings, babies and children are deeply honoured and revered for the intelligent and conscious beings that they are. A world where mothers are attuned to and in connection with their babies, and where the deep and intuitive connection between mother and child is protected, nurtured and most of all trusted by mothers themselves and by those whom support her.

Attachment is the deep and enduring emotional connection between a child and his or her parent or caregiver. Children are remarkable little beings who depend on a secure attachment with their primary caregiver/s in order to thrive optimally throughout infancy, childhood, adolescence and even into adulthood. Establishing secure attachment requires meeting a baby and child's needs for physical, emotional and relational safety, security and connection. The Motherline focuses on providing services that help to establish, support and nurture secure attachment whilst also addressing emotional, psychological and behavioural challenges that can present in the child's early years and in one's parenting journey.
